Although there are a lot of strong bosses in the world of Elden Ring, players are still confused about how to find some specific bosses in the game. Because they are hidden in the places that players haven’t discovering yet. One of these specific bosses is Tibia Mariner. If players want to find the questline of main story, they need to defeat Tibia Mariner in advance. You can get guidance from this article. Moreover, if players demand some essential Elden Ring Items, you can use Runes to purchase them from the merchant in the game.
Where to Find Tibia Mariner
Tibia Mariner is a unique boss that you can find in Summonwater Village, Limgrave. The boss holds a horn while riding a small boat. Fighting the boss is optional, and you can progress in the story without facing him. Defeating the boss will get you the Deathroot and Skeletal Militiaman Ashes. Deathroot is a very important item that you need to unlock areas, quests, and progress the story further.
The second Tibia Mariner is found in Liurnia of the Lakes in the eastern marshes of the flooded zone just west of the Artist's Shack Site of Lost Grace, which houses a painting that players should stop to look at. The third Tibia Mariner is around the Wyndham Ruins of Mt. Gelmir, and a fourth can be found in the Land of Giants.
How to Defeat Tibia Mariner in Elden Ring
Tibia Mariner isn't really what you need to worry about in this boss fight. Sure, the ghost aboard a boat can deal damage with a few attacks, but they're so easily avoided that they're hardly worth mentioning. It's the skeletons it summons you'll need to focus on once they appear.
This boss is rather resilient but easy to defeat if you just approach with guerrilla tactics. Going in and staying up close and personal will likely result in you getting swarmed by the boss and the nearby mobs, so it’s best to have an escape strategy on hand. Be sure to explore the nearby ruins, with the northeastern area being the entrance, you’ll find the stairs leading in near some turtles outside. Inside are even more turtles and a door to a chest that contains a Green Turtle Talisman which increases stamina recovery speed.
Begin the fight by simply wailing on the boss with either your melee weapon or magic attack. The boss hardly reacts to the draining of its HP bar until it starts to summon minions. These are skeletons that can be taken down in a few hits, but the problem is they can revive themselves. To put a stop to that, hit them a few more times when there's a blue aura surrounding them whilst they're on the ground. That'll kill them for good.
The melee strategy is the simplest by far. All you need to do is to run from the slam and Raise boat attack. Bring a heavy weapon if you have one, as it can be very useful. A heavy weapon staggers the boss a lot and interrupts a few of his attacks. You can summon online players and Spirit Ashes for the fight. Ashes like the Lone Wolf Ashes can be great for the fight as they are aggressive and in a pack of three, making it a four versus one.
When players defeat Tibia Mariner, they will get an important item called Deathroot, which can be used in the later quest of Elden Ring. And if players have trouble in defeating bosses in the game, they can choose to Buy Elden Ring Runes to complement more potions for their character during battles.
