After the close of popular Fortnite OG Season, players have access to join in Fortnite Chapter 5 Season 1 now. There are a lot of new changes and features in the latest update of Fortnite. We are going to list them in the guidance for players who want to know more information of Fortnite Chapter 5 Season 1. Players can get Cheap FN V-BUCKS to buy new skins or cosmetics for characters in the game shop.
Fortnite Chapter 5 Season 1 New Map Changes
The new map continues a trend of featuring multiple biomes, including grasslands, desert, forest, and a frozen tundra. New named locations can be found in each of these, of course, alongside many smaller landmarks not mentioned on the map and just waiting to be discovered.
Some of the games places of interest (POIs) include Ritzy Riviera, a marina in the west, Rebel's Roost, a mansion in the northern forest, Hazy Hillside atop an alpine village, and the Grand Glacier Hotel, which I will enjoy pretending is The Overlook from The Shining.
Most notably, there's also Reckless Railways, which confirms a recent rumor that the season would include a functional train system, with railroad tracks that sprawl across the island and introduce new ways for you to move about the hostile world. For more private travel, you'll also find the new Trailsmasher SUV parked in spots around the map, which makes for a great off-roading option.
New Weapon Mods in Fortnite Chapter 5 Season 1
You can find Mod Benches in Vaults around the Fortnite Chapter 5 Season 1 map, letting you spend Bars to mod your weapon.
The devs said you can “add mods that reduce recoil, increase mag capacity, and more,” but “not every mod works with every weapon.”
Mod-compatible weapons can’t be bought from Characters or Vending Machines so you’ll have to find them in loot. Most of these mod-compatible weapons will already have mods on them, with Uncommon Rarity having one mod, Rare having two, Epic Rarity three, and so on. You’re free to change the mods on these weapons by spending Bars at the Mod Benches.
New Skins in Big Bang Battle Pass
The Battle Pass for Chapter 5 Season 1, brings Solid Snake (Metal Gear Solid) and Peter Griffin (Family Guy) to Fortnite. Furthermore, Peter now has a Swole appearance and brings other cosmetic items themed after the hit TV show.
Additional Battle Pass outfits features new characters named Oscar, Vengeance Jones, Nisha, Montague, and Valeria. An easter egg in the launch trailer also hints at a forthcoming collaboration with Teenage Mutant Ninja Turtles in Chapter 5.
New Car Cosmetics in Fortnite Chapter 5 Season 1
In Chapter 5, a new type of cosmetic is coming to the game. Starting today, you can customize the Fortnite sports car by setting presets in your locker the same way you would choose a skin, back bling, or glider. For now, only the sports car is customizable, but the battle pass includes your first alternate car body, the Scorpion--that is, unless you have linked your Rocket League and Fortnite accounts.
If so, you'll also instantly unlock the Octane, Cyclone, Jager 619, and Lamborghini Huracan STO for Fortnite and a new game within Fortnite separate from battle royale or Creative--keep scrolling for that one--provided you own those cars in Rocket League already.
Winter Theme in Fortnite Chapter 5 Season 1
Tying in with Fortnite’s annual Winterfest event, chunks of the map are covered in snow at the Chapter 5 Season 1 start. Both the boreal forest and boreal tundra biomes are fully blanketed with snow, while the normally sandy chaparral biome also sees rare snow.
The diversity of biomes and the inclusion of deep snow will force players to adapt strategies moving around and engaging in combat. Those unfamiliar with a location’s unique features may struggle. Expect a learning curve determining optimal approaches while rotating across the various biomes.
Fortnite Chapter 5 Season 1 is available for players now, you can experience these new features and changes in the game. And you can also Buy Fortnite V-BUCKS to unlock the latest battle pass and earn good skin or cosmetics rewards.
