And New World has introduced Winter Tokens as a special currency that can be used to exchange for unique rewards. What is Gleamite in New World?
Gleamite is mined from a new resource node called a Gleamite Chunk. These crystals will be scattered around the map after a random Gleamite Shower.
When a Gleamite shower occurs, a rift will open in the sky, and gleamite meteors will start pouring down. Head to the location of the shower and look for the minable Gleamite Chunks on the ground. Gleamite Chunks will look like large multicolored crystals sticking out of the earth. Showers can happen at multiple locations around the map, so the Gleamite can potentially pop up in any of the territories.
Once you have mined some gleamite, head to the nearest Winter Village and find the Holiday Hut. You will need at least ten gleamite crystals to be able to exchange them for a Winter Token. Interact with the Holiday Hut, and choose “Winter Token – Gleamite” under the Winter Convergence Tokens -> Token Creation category.
What does Gleamite Work in New World?
Well, every so often, and commonly at night, a Gleamite meteor shower will start falling from the sky. You can’t miss it, as it’s a beautiful display of color that just lights the whole place up. What you need to do next is go to and explore the areas where the shower was the strongest. That’s where the New World Gleamite locations will spawn. To get the material, you just have to mine the giant, jagged crystals of Gleamite. They are impossible to overlook, as they glow all the colors of the rainbow and emit a very unique, alien sound.
How to Find Gleamite Locations and Get them in New World?
When night falls on Aeternum, gleamite meteors may show up on the skies above, and they're an omen for the new Gleamite Showers dynamic event. Occurring solely after nightfall and ending with the break of dawn, Gleamite Showers litter a random area in Aeternum with Gleamite Chunks, a new resource node in New World through which players obtain Gleamite.
The showers can disperse Gleamite Chunks in several locations at once, and the locations have no discernible or predictable pattern to them. The event, which spawns at night, is impossible to miss with its dazzling display of color and the Gleamite can be found in the direction of where the meteor exploded into smaller chunks. Once players find their way to one of these locations in New World, they can recognize Gleamite Chunks as these tall, multi-colored crystals poking out of the ground.
After mining their fill of gleamite crystals, players can exchange them at the nearest Winter Village inside the Holiday Hut by turning in 10 Gleamite for a single Winter Token, which can later be redeemed for exclusive Winter Convergence Festival rewards.
Players are willing to take part in the activity like collecting Gleamite, they expect that the developer can publish more interesting activities for them.
