Ten years ago, teenage Nicole and her mother discovered that her father, Leonard, had an affair with Rachel, a girl of similar age to them. Not only did the other girl become pregnant, but she even committed suicide because of it. Nicole and her mother decided to leave this place. A family-run hotel.

Now that both of Nicole's parents have passed away, Nicole hopes to make amends to Rachel's family by fulfilling her mother's last wish to sell the hotel. She returned to the hotel with the family lawyer to inspect the building's dilapidated condition.

Because the weather suddenly became very bad, Nicole could not leave the big wooden house in the mountains, so she used the earliest wireless phone in the hotel to seek help from the young Federal Emergency Management Agency Commissioner Irwin.

With Irwin's help, Nicole begins to investigate a mystery that's far more complicated than anyone in the valley could imagine. This is a story about love and death. Melancholy and nostalgia merge into a terrifying ghost legend.
