How to Compete the More Than a Weapon Quest in Destiny 2
More than a Weapon is a seasonal quest of Season of the Seraph in Destiny 2 that tasks Guardians with completing 54 steps over the course of several weeks. With Week 1 of Season of the Seraph currently available, players are able to accept and complete Steps 1 through 9 of More than a Weapon, which should take no more than less than an hour.
To get started on this Seasonal Quest in Destiny 2, Guardians must get through the opening sequence for the current season. At the end of this introductory quest, players will meet with the Exo Frame within the H.E.L.M., the NPC from whom they will receive More than a Weapon.
Finish Heist Battleground Activity
Heist Battleground is the core Season of the Seraph activity, and to get your feet wet in the seasonal loop, you’ll have to start by thwarting an offensive on the Moon. To start this mission, just launch it from the H.E.L.M. or the Moon node.
The activity is a mix of Battlegrounds with Wrathborn Hunts, requiring you to take on some of Xivu Arath’s army while not being blown up by the Warmind defense systems. At the end of the mission, you’ll encounter one of Eramis’ former soldiers, and the bone-chilling dialogue gives you an idea of the possible fate of other associates of Eramis. After wrapping up the activity, the game will move on to the next step of the quest, instructing you on another vital part of the seasonal loop.
Collect 500 Seraph Key Codes
After you finish your Heist Battleground Moon, you’ll need to obtain 500 Seraph Key Codes. Seraph Key Codes are the seasonal currency for Season of the Seraph, much like Treasure Coordinates during Season of Plunder.
Regular playlist Strikes give a little over 200 Key Codes per run. That’s likely the most efficient method of getting your hands on some quickly. However, they drop from all playlist activities. So, if you just play the game, you’ll rack up more than you could ever possibly need.
Finish Operation Archimedes
After looting the Seraph Chest, players will then need to load up Operation: Archimedes is to activate an old Power Substation. Before that, players will need to stay out of sight of the towers and slowly make their way to the Power Substation. While moving through the facility, Destiny 2 players will need to grab charges from enemies and insert them into nearby devices to open doors.
Before long, players will have to fight a large Ogre called Sumok, Ravager of Torobatl. This boss fight takes place in a respawn restricted zone, so players will need to be careful and not spend too long in the open since Sumok's beam attack does a lot of damage. When the boss reaches 50%, it will gain a shield. Once the shield is broken, players can continue fighting the boss. Once the boss dies, grab the Charge and insert it into the battery. Kill any remaining enemies and move on to the nearby console to complete the mission.
If you are willing to complete the More Than a Weapon quest early in Week 1, you can follow this guidance and try to finish quests quickly. Due to the new update season in Destiny 2, players can Buy Destiny 2 Silver to unlock more good items or skins for characters from the game shop, which make your character attractive in the game.
