Entering the Lair: To rescue Mayrina, you’ll need to delve deeper into Auntie Ethel’s lair, which is hidden beneath her hut. This area is full of traps, illusions, and enemies that you’ll need to navigate.
Challenges in the Lair
Traps and Illusions: The lair is filled with various traps and illusions designed to confuse and harm intruders.

As one of the harder bosses in Baldur's Gate 3, Hag is often difficult for many players to defeat without the right strategy, especially as you get deeper into the questline. Here are some tips to make your escape easier:
Use Teleportation or Fast Travel: If you have spells like Misty Step or teleportation scrolls, you can bypass certain obstacles or travel directly to the surface.
Party Formation: Keep your party together and in a tight formation to avoid ambushes or traps while leaving the lair.
Use Stealth: Sneak past enemies rather than engaging in combat if you are low on health or resources. Use the hide action to stay unnoticed.
One of the best is using Arcane Lock on the secret doorway to her lair to ensure she never gets to it. She’ll then remain in the house, and use all her turns trying to get out.
It’s a great method to make sure that you don’t get the tough battle in her lair, and you can skip out on all the other traps and enemies you come across in there as well.
However, if you’ve not used this method and you’re in her lair with her, she can be very tough to take down. Thankfully some spells can make the fight easier, and many players found that Silence was one of the best ways to shut her down.
Silence is a Level 2 Illusion spell, so you can get it pretty early on in the game, and it creates a dome around a target where they are unable to use any magic. So you’ll shut down the Hag’s ability to cast her Mirror Image ability and any other spells she uses.
Using Sussur's Weapons against her is a simpler approach to do this. These may be crafted by acquiring Sussur Bark from the Underdark and finishing the Blighted Village quest Forge the Masterwork Weapon.
When you strike a victim with the Sickle and Dagger, it will silence them, working similarly to the spell. The Hag can move out of the Silence bubble that the spell generates, so it can be stronger. Just be sure to hit her before she can cast her Mirror Image.
A participant proposed that there exists a straightforward resolution for the situation if she manages to cast her spell on time. "If she does create duplicate images, you can magically destroy them all."
Avoid Re-encounters: If you've already defeated the Hag or her minions, try to avoid re-encounting them as you backtrack through the lair.
The Hag can be intimidating to take on, With these tips, you should be able to navigate out of the Hag’s Lair with minimal issues.
