Where to Find Best Landing Spots in Fortnite Chapter 5 Season 1
Reckless Railways
Reckless Railways is home to Grand Station, the biggest station on the Fortnite island’s new railway line, and it’s one of the best places on the island to catch the Train. There’s also plenty of ground loot and chests inside the station itself, which tends to attract lots of players in every match. It’s the very definition of a hot zone, drawing in solo players and squads searching for battle throughout the game.
Grand Station might be the centerpiece of this location, but there are also surrounding buildings that provide extra loot and cover. Winning firefights in Reckless Railways requires you to use your surroundings, losing your enemies behind buildings and taking advantage of close quarters and verticality. Facing west, you’ll find a massive open town square that allows any player with a sniper rifle to score elimination after elimination.
The Runaway Train
The Runaway Train makes its way around the island non-stop and is a fun place to grab loot and run!
You can jump from the Battle Bus straight to the Train, which can be tricky as the train never stops! Or you can land ahead of the train and jump aboard when you are ready. The Train has four small chests near the carriage doors and a huge chest to ‘hack’. Hacking the large chest means having to wait around until it spews its loot and sprays the carriage with graffiti. After a period of time, the chest resets and you can hack it again, so you could ride around while you wait!
Fencing Fields
Fencing Fields is one of the most visually appealing POIs added to Chapter 5, complete with its own vineyard and orchard, fountains and plenty of buildings and fields to loot from. You can also find the brand-new Flowberries around the fields surrounding the location, which restore your shield levels and also give you a temporary burst of low-gravity, which negates fall damage.
Although this all sounds promising, Fencing Fields is also home to the boss Nisha, which you would need to defeat if you come across, along with her henchman.
Classy Courts
Classy Courts is located in the northeastern section of the chapter 5, season 1 map, which gives you a lot of choices to the south for rotating. While this landing spot isn’t necessarily the most loot-dense, it’s a really fun place to start because of the layout of the area. You can find plenty of chests on the tennis courts here if you want to get right into the action, or you can land in one of the buildings on the outer rim to play things just a little bit safer against those who will be pushing in on you from the courts.
Ruined Reels
Ruined Reels is great landing spot for getting some pretty decent loot in relative peace as it’s considered mid-range in terms of sweatiness.
It can get busy at Ruined Reels, particularly if it is a designated Hot Spot, but it isn’t the most popular place to land. There is a Weapon Case cache hidden away so you can grab a bunch of modded weapons quickly, and then harvest all the stone you can carry from the ruins around you. It is a central location so is perfect for anyone who wants to move out to other areas after looting and shielding up.
If you are not familiar with the new map of Fortnite Chapter 5 Season 1, you can consider these mentioned spots in the game. In order to unlock the latest skins or cosmetics, you can Buy Fortnite V-BUCKS to get them in the game shop.
