Collect Radiolite
To begin Act 2, Week 2 of "A Rising Chorus," Failsafe will have news for you after being briefed on the 'Echo of Command'. She’ll instruct you to collect Radiolite, which you can find during activities. It's helpful to equip your Ghost with a Wombo Detector mod to make finding Radiolite easier. One or two hits from a Planetary Piston should yield enough Radiolite.
A few hits on a Planetary Piston should produce enough Radiolite to complete this step; for reference, this is what a Planetary Piston looks like.
After gathering the Radiolite, finish the activity to earn some loot, then return to Failsafe at the H.E.L.M. She'll instruct you to deploy nanobots on Nessus in the Chamber of Stone.
Mark the location on your map and follow the waypoint to the portal. After passing through the portal and navigating the cave, you'll enter the Chamber of Stone. Inside, you'll encounter Compelled Vex and find spots to deploy your nanobots. The first two deployment points are in the first room.
The final three nanobot deployment spots are in the second room. More Compelled Vex will appear, so deal with them before deploying the nanobots again. One spot is to the left of the entrance, another is in the center of the room straight ahead, and the last one is on the right, hidden behind a rock.
Core Activity
After deploying the nanobots, your next task is to complete the Battleground: Core activity, located at the bottom of the Nessus area, beneath The Cistern.
When you start the activity, follow the objective marker down and around a large Radiolarian pillar into a room with a few enemies, including a large Taken Centurion called an 'Essence Bearer' and some Taken Blights. To proceed, defeat the Essence Bearer and use the Taken orbs it drops to destroy the Blights. Each Blight only requires one orb to be destroyed, so coordinate with your team to avoid wasting orbs. If you miss, don't worry; Thralls will spawn, and they will drop additional orbs when defeated.
In the next area, you'll need to repeat this process, but this time there are six Taken Blights to destroy. Continue clearing out the enemies until all Blights are eliminated. Once the area is clear, drop down to reach a small parkour section where a Planetary Piston will spawn.
Make your way through the jumping puzzle, collecting some Radiolite from the Planetary Piston if needed, and proceed to the next area. This circular room is filled with ads, and two Wyverns will spawn at the end. With a team of three players, dealing with these enemies should be manageable.
Boss Arena
After clearing the circular room, you'll enter the boss arena. Rally at the flag, drop down and eliminate the enemies.
Destroy the crystal to initiate the boss fight. Attack the boss until its health drops to the first notch, which happens fairly early. At this point, the boss will trigger the deletion protocol, causing red walls to move through the arena. You'll need to keep rotating around the arena to avoid them.
As you continue, a 'System Override node'—a Vex Cube—will appear behind you, above a plate. Destroying this cube activates the plate and grants the 'System Override' buff, which significantly boosts your damage against the boss. It's wise to save your Heavy Ammo and Supers for this moment.
Once you've defeated the boss, collect your loot. Failsafe will then direct you to return to the H.E.L.M., where she will instruct you to go to the Watcher's Grave area on Nessus to find a new research specimen.
Sign of the End
Mark the location on your map and head to the scan point. Interact with the node to scan the area, and Failsafe will instruct you to scan another spot further down and to the left of the initial scan.
Proceed to the next scan location, which is above a Vex Goblin's body. After scanning, you'll be able to collect a frog specimen that appears from the Goblin. Once you have the specimen, return it to Failsafe at the H.E.L.M.
Failsafe, distracted by her fascination with the frog, accidentally reveals information that Ikora had asked her to keep secret. You'll need to visit Ikora to discuss Failsafe's plan to locate The Conductor. During this conversation, you learn that you may need to find Saint-14's old body to help Failsafe gather the data needed to locate The Conductor. This cliffhanger marks the end of Week 2 of A Rising Chorus: Act 2.
