Players may find that Elden Ring is a challenging game for them to play, because the enemies in the game are too powerful to defeat in just one time. So, players need to level up their characters constantly in order to beat more hard bosses in the dungeons. If players want to level up their stats of characters, they need to use Elden Ring Runes for leveling. So, they expect to find more easy runes farming locations and get more runes in use. In addition, players will need equip good Elden Ring Weapons in the process of questing, which help them pull through more hard dungeons in the world of Elden Ring.
How to Farm More Runes in Elden Ring
Stormhill
The first and quickest farming spot to farm runes is on Stormhill, just west of Limgrove, which is accessible as soon as you have access to horse Torrent after first meeting the Melina at a Site of Grace.
While it might be safer to fight the two chained trolls pulling the caravan (and the enemies behind it) when you're riding through West Limgrave along the main path to the Gatefront, there's a location where you can fight five trolls at once - which will net you a total of 5,000 runes (1,000 runes per troll).
To reach this part of Stormhill, follow the cliff face along the East of the Gatefront Site of Grace and you'll come to an air current that Torrent can jump to reach the top of Stormhill.
Be careful that trolls are quite intimidating and hit hard - especially when you're low-level - and once you've taken down half their health they'll stop swinging at you with their arms and pull out the sword on their back. In short - this is by no means a safe farm run.
Gatefront Ruins
Probably the earliest decent rune-farming location you'll come across is the Gatefront Ruins encampment in Limgrave, a short distance from where you first set foot in the region. This area is where you'll find the first Map Fragment of part of Limgrave, and also where you find your first Whetstone Knife for applying affinities to your weapons.
It's easy enough to take on the soldiers in this encampment one at a time if you sneak around and avoid the two soldiers patrolling the central path. Leave the large patrolling knight til last, as he's the toughest of the lot. But all in all, clearing this encampment should quickly net you a good 1,500 runes - and if you're feeling adventurous, you can also take on the soldiers and the Troll at the gatefront itself for an additional 1,300 or so.
Agheel Lake North Viking Camp
Just east of the Gate Front Ruins you will find the Agheel Lake North Site of Grace. Just northeast of there is a small viking camp, with a few horseback enemies between the camp and the Site of Grace. Each horseback enemy will net you about 300 runes and clearing out the entire camp of the wolves and vikings will put at about 2,000 Runes per run. The only enemies that are a bit challenging to beat are those on horseback, but a couple jumping heavy attacks will knock them off their horses and leave them open to a critical hit. Unfortunately, this method won't get you runes as quickly as the aforementioned dragons, but it will be much easier to do without dying. The final method nets the lowest amount of Runes, but is easy and fast.
There are also some other good runes farming locations for players to explore in the world of Elden Ring. Players can get more runes for characters in these spots. However, players will also need Buy Elden Ring Items to support their combats against enemies in these spots, some bosses are not easy to beat in the battles.
