Introduction to Rocket Racing
Rocket Racing is a new racing experience found in Fortnite! Rocket League creator Psyonix launches Rocket Racing, a new arcade racing game! Master your drift, fly, turbo and mid-air dodge skills as you race through ever-increasing tracks. Whether you're playing solo or with friends, you can compete online in ranked or private matches. In the game, test your skills on 26 tracks. Avoid towering obstacles, take shortcuts, and climb over walls to outdo your competitors.
How to Drive a Rocket Racer?
There are four main techniques, drift, flying, turbo, and air dodge.
Drift
When there's a sharp turn ahead, well-timed drift can come into play. Luckily, Rocket Racing makes basic drifting easy - all you have to do is swerve! Drifting increases speed, meaning the longer you drift, the longer it takes to accelerate after going straight.
Flight
We all encounter bumps in the road, but only a rocket-powered car can fly you over them. There are many hazards on the roads in Rocket Racing, and if you hit one, your current speed will slow down to make way for passing enemies. Avoid danger by jumping or holding the jump button to fly. You can also use Cheap Fortnite V-Bucks to jump over hazards.
Turbine
Supercharging is cool, but how do you go faster? Turbo! All vehicles in Rocket Racing are equipped with a turbine meter that can be recharged up to 3 times. The meter refills over time, and you can make it refill faster by drifting. Use Turbo now or save all three Turbo threats.
Air Dodge
While in the air, Aerial Dodge can be attached to walls or ceilings! Press the air dodge button and indicate the direction to dodge in the air. Once you're connected, drift away and start turbo.
Now that you've mastered rocket-powered cars, it's time to race to the finish line. But before you can finish the game, you have to start the game! Learn something about the competition below:
