How to get Allstar Coins

Earning more XP - The most basic way is by leveling up. Earning XP from matches – with bonus XP earned from performing better, like netting victories, wrecking opponents and so on – will eventually level you up. On leveling up, you’ll receive 1000 AllStar Coins. You can gain XP by performing well in matches, including wrecking opponents, placing high on leaderboards, or winning in either solo or team mode.

There are no boosters in Destruction AllStars, so you just have to perform better to be rewarded better. Character skins go for around 8,000 coins while icons and banners can range from 100 to 1,000 coins. So, save up! Experience points are quite easy to rack up in multiplayer. After an hour or two, you will more than likely have enough to buy a character skin.

How to get Destruction Points

Unlike AllStar Coins, you can’t actually earn Destruction Points by naturally progressing through the game. These are instead tied to microtransactions. This won’t be permanent however, with developer Lucid Games stating they’ll be able to be unlocked by completing challenges at some point in 2021. The only way to get them now, however, is through purchases on the PlayStation Store. In other words, they are the game’s microtransactions. The microtransactions are priced at $5 for 500 DP, $10 for 1,000 DP, and $20 for 2,000 DP.
