Diamond Dynasty Changes
The biggest change to Diamond Dynasty this year is the introduction of sets and seasons. A verbatim quote from the feature premiere livestream referred to the system as, “the single biggest change we’ve made to Diamond Dynasty since I don’t know how long.” A season will run from 6 to 8 weeks, with teams in that time frame being built out of specific sets.
Cards will have their release timed with seasons and be in set 1, 2, 3, and so on. Season 1 will feature set 1 and ‘core’ players. Core appears to be the new title for prior years ‘live series’ cards. These core cards can be used year round in the new format, but different sets of cards will rotate out over time. SDS claimed some other cards will be a part of this core set other than live series, but no details have been announced.
Players can get early access and experience MLB The Show 23 earlier than others. And you can also Buy MLB The Show 23 Stubs to purchase your desired player cards for your team and build the best baseball team in the game.
